26' Offseason Nets get Franz, Celtics get a switchable big in Claxton, and Magic get shooting and picks

I have been somewhat obsessed with the idea of the Nets getting Franz, I think his fit with the young group is nice and he fits the timeline perfectly. You can definitely say there was maybe an overpay here, but I really don't think there's anything they gave up, that would damage their timeline or is not counteracted by getting a locked up young all-star caliber forward who fits Jordi so well. With the further acquiring of Sam to somewhat will the MPJ spacing role and maybe you get a Issac in a low pressure situation where he can turn it around and be healthy but no skin off your back if he's a dud for you.

The Celtics have a good interior center in Queta, but he got very exposed in his drop coverage against such a talented guard like Maxey. He played great, but having a switchable big in that position gives you a ton of value that allows you to have a good defensive game plan and getting to have both puts you in a really good spot next year. Especially with Claxton's contract, that fits the criteria for the Celtics wanting to stay under the tax cap to reset the repeater tax which they would have to stay under the entirety of next season. If you were to check the real financial data of this trade the Celtics need to shed around 500k to make it fully legal financially, but that's such a small amount I think it's inconsequential to affecting the overall outcome here.

The Magic got a bunch of picks for a young player, they get to add shooting at the wing position and a potential shooter off the bench at the big spot to really let Paolo run loose. I think they come out relatively improved and would only really need to get their hands on a good ball handling guard to make them seem a lot more legit. Then this previous season, where they had a lot of disappointments. I know there's a kind of talk about MPJ's health, and what kind of extension, he'll get, but it really wouldn't put you in much more of a different situation if you had Franz except you wouldn't have a clear cut off the ball player, and n your financials would look relatively the same.

I don't feel the picks are fully finalized here, but I think the general concept here comes across.
