Nuggets: A++++++ First of all, I just wanted to say that as a nuggets fan, I will miss MPJ. I thought he was unfairly made into the scapegoat for when the Nuggets came up short and he was an intergral part of the magical 2023 playoff run. I wish him nothing but the best. With that being said, the Nuggets just went out and got a more consistent, better defensively, and far cheaper version of him. This puts the Nuggets right back up there with OKC as contenders in the West in my opinion. Giving up an unprotected first is never ideal, but when you have one of the best players ever in his prime, you gotta do what you gotta do.
Nets: B The nets could have gotten multiple first round picks at the deadline for Cam Johnson, but because they held out, they now have to sell low. MPJ is a great player and we'll see what he does in Brooklyn, but getting back only one first for Cam and taking on Porter's contract could be a tough pill to swallow.
