This deal involves 3 teams who are each in need of a bit of a shake up and will be looking to revamp their roster's this offseason around the respective cores going forward.

Denver: The emergence of Bones Hyland allows Denver to move on from Monte Morris, the Will Barton time has reached its natural end, and there is a complete log jam at the PF position giving the Nuggets reason to move each of these 4 players. In return they are addressing some key needs around Joker, Murray and MPJ. Thybulle brings desperately needed perimeter defense that we have seen exposed multiple years in a row now in the playoffs. Bogdanovic brings shooting and shot creation to replace Barton and Morris as well as some fantastic chemistry with fellow countryman Nikola Jokic. Jalen Johnson would be a young talent to add with hopes of development into a player who can contribute down the road.

Philly: The Sixers have been looking for a way out of the Tobias Harris contract for a couple years now and the recently made available and long time disgruntled John Collins gives them a route to finally do so. Collins adds some versatility and athleticism beside Embiid as well as another good PnR man for Harden/Maxey. I think Philly will be a team highly interested in Barton (have been rumored to be for a few years now) because he adds outside shooting, playmaking and shot creation for a bench that desperately needs it. Thybulle seems to be an odd man out as he saw next to no playing time in the playoffs down the stretch due to his lack of outside shooting and spacing around the big guns. Jeff Green is a bit of a sweetener, the journeyman who brings size and great leadership as well as some floor spacing.

Atlanta: The Hawks are looking to address some major issues in the roster as they have a ton of free agents, some big contracts and a general need to reshape around Trae Young. Harris brings back a go to number 2 scorer with some size and shooting ability on the wing. Monte Morris finally brings stability and consistency at the backup PG spot that Atlanta has been dying for since Young arrived. Morris can shoot and facilitate very efficiently in non-Young minutes. Jamychal Green brings size, strength, defense and a general tough attitude that this team lacks at times. He is a solid veteran big that can play the 4 or 5 as well as stretch the floor in the pick and pop.
