If they still want to compete at a championship level, I believe they should trade some of their core especially Jamaal Murray and MPJ due to their consistencies as well as their injury history. Jokic is on their prime. One could make the argument that if Denver had a solid bench, they would have beaten OKC and possibly go to another NBA Finals.

Therefore, I believe Denver should call Atlanta and make a move for Trae Young in addition to calling Memphis and asking for Desmond Bane on this team. Having another ball handler next to Jokic would ease the load offensively, and even though Murray-Jokic pick and roll is near perfect, I believe both Trae Young and Jokic would unlock a new offense for Denver. Therefore, for the Desmond Bane trade, add your 2031 first round pick (top 10 protected) to MPJ, Dario Saric and Zeke Nnaji should entice the deal by a little.

After that, they should sign Bruce Brown and Kevon Looney for bench depth, Nickeil Alexander-Walker would be difficult to sign because some teams will offer him more money however if they add him, I believe Denver should be back into title contention.
