My thouhts on the goat debate: An important difference: BOAT ⛵️ and GOAT 🐐

I'm not here to talk about LeBron-or-Jordan or Messi-or-Ronaldo kind of debates. Well yeah, sure, but not like that. Because this players are huge, and they for sure are the best, but they might not be the GOAT. Here's why.

How many times have we heard "LeBron's the GOAT cause he has more points" "Nah, Jordan is the GOAT because he has more rings". The thing is, both and none are true at the same time. Because we should separate the terms GOAT (Greatest Of All Times) (duh) and BOAT (Best Of All Times). Being good is measured in points, in assists, in rings, in minutes, in awards... Jordan or LeBron are the BOATs (I'm a coward and I'm not saying my pick). Messi is the BOAT (duhhhhhh). Ayrton Senna is the BOAT. But greatness isn't measured in titles, in MVPs or in triple doubles. It's measured in feelings. In moments. Because all of LeBron's points won't make me happier than Hali's game-winners the last playoffs. Because Jordan's 6 rings won't make me feel as much as I felt when Russ retired. Because, as a proud Spanish guy I am, all of Messi's goals and assists won't ever make me as joyful as I felt when FERRAN TORRES scored that huge goal in the 106th minute of the final against Messi's Argentina. So if anyone tells you "My GOAT is Kyle Kuzma", you just take it, because it's their opinion, and we all have one.
