If your reading this, I been informed it's unlikely for an Obi trade which was a surprise to me. My thinking is below if your interested in it.
Since the trade deadline I've been thinking about an Obi Toppin trade that has the Pacers shed money to account for the extension for Nesmith in 2027-28 that will benefit them this upcoming season. Thye are currently $247,224 under the tax cap if they accept the team option for Micah Potter and keep the non-guaranteed contracts of Quenton Jackson and Kam Jones, with a 14 man roster. I expected they would want to get further from the tax cap this season so they can make roster chances as needed. So I assume an Obi Toppin trade is inbound to clear some money and open up some minutes in theory for Walker.
Curious if anyone has thought of a good one.
