I'm so frustrated and pissed over the Pacers management. Never paying the tax for a team who's an obvious contender. Ben Mathurin will be an All-Star next season. Obi is getting better each year. Being one of the best player's off the bench on the NBA. Yet they're shopping them around... Uhh.. no. I'd trade Myles Turner before I'd do that. His worth is the style fit, not necessarily because of production.. So as much as I'd hate to see him leave.. Don't let the door hit ya in the azz on the way out.. I'd be hesitant to even give Turner 25 million a year. His best assets to the team is his mobility and his quick 3pt shot release. However, when Turner isn't engaged. If he isn't knocking down shots for us at 3. We aren't having a good game. Because he doesn't hustle for a single rebound and he only shoots 46%FG. This whole bs notion like there is no player out there that can mimic what Myles Turner can do. I'd be willing to challenge that. While at some degree that is true. It's not as if we can't replace him with 2 or 3 other player's. Too often team's will overpay one single player.. Not many guy's in the league are worth more then depth. Myles can't come close to giving what Gafford can. Gafford isn't Myles.. But give me a rim running, defending, rebounding C who can block shots and give me around 65% at the rim. With two guy's off the bench who mimic Turner very well. I'll take that. Day'Ron Sharpe would be a double double and soon as a team adjusts to us. Throw in Santi Aldama and have him light them up from 3. He'd get soo many open looks... smh..

I know this trade isn't practical. One with less moving pieces. Like Day'Ron and Aldama alone is more realistic. I'll still take that everyday over paying Myles too much. Then losing Obi, Mathurin or anyone else for that matter.

I'd be happy with Pascal/Obi/Walker Sharpe/Aldama/Bryant Front court. Something like that. Who know's who else we could get for Turner himself. I'll take a nice 1st in 2026 for him. Any good 1st really and a solid player. We can also pick up a Rasheer Fleming, Danny Wolf, Tomislav Ivisic for a big too in the draft.

Maybe you look at getting Aldama/Sharpe and then trying to sign Clint Capela on a team friendly deal. I'd definitely be down for Gafford or an Ivica Zubac. Pacers better not make the wrong move.. I swear I'll never watch them again. Best thing would be to keep the core group together.. But they better not trade the young guy's for Turner. I'd like to see them figure this out.. But I'd be looking at Turner trades too. Most likely any big move would be an off-season move. Sign and trade imo.
