Kristaps and Jrue are getting older and only under contract for another year or two. KD could sign a 2 or 3 year deal. While also getting them cap flexibility to keep a championship team together. This kind of trade is the only one that makes sense for a KD trade. Because it needs to be as straight up as possible. No team can win with KD if that team has to gut their entire roster. I don't think KD has even thought about Boston as a possibility right now. But I'm sure he would if they lose in this year's playoffs.

Cause if Boston loses earlier than expected, doesn't get to the Finals. Or worse, after all they're expected to win really. With the way this team is assembled and if they don't. You can expect to start hearing the trade talks start floating around. I think this would be the best situation for KD and the Celtics.

I threw in the Haliburton for LaMelo Ball trade myself and brought back Jalen Smith because I never wanted him to leave in the first place.. and they are going to look someplace to dump Obi Toppins contract. So why not give him to the Bulls and bring back Jalen. We need a backup PF/C to play real backup minutes behind Turner. I'm still hopeful we draft a C like a Danny Wolf, Rasheer Fleming, Magoon Gwath or Tomislav Ivisic. Then a SF and SG, possibly another PG if we can land a good one. Soo many good player's in this year's draft.

BTW I know it says it's a "Failed" attempt. But it only failed because of all the player contracts who are over.. and some I was forced to use to try and make the money right. I had a successful Jaylen Brown and Kevin Durant swap. But right before I went to post it. It glitches and I lost everything.
