Pacers need to rebuild. What they have is not working. I don't see a better way to intentionally lose games then to get Westbrook on your team. (And plus you would have him the next season as well which will allow you to get higher picks in the draft next season, it's a win-win with Westbrook). Plus you get 2 first rounders...which is what Pacers were asking for LeVert. Pacers win with this one.

Hornets rid themselves of a bad contract in Hayward and get a promising player in return. It's a win for the Hornets.

Lakers rid themselves of Westbrook, but for a cost...they give up important draft capital. They do get Hayward who can help space the floor better than Westbrook. The main downside is they do not improve defensively. Plus Hayward is overpaid, but easier to plug in with AD and LeBron then Westbrook ever was. Lakers also get Lamb a player they have been after for some time. Lakers win only slightly in that they get two better players for LeBron and AD.

OKC gets draft capital for taking in 2 contracts to help the Pacers get Westbrook. OKC wins.
