There seems to be a lot of smoke about Kyle Lowry on the way out. Toronto is also 16-0 in the last 16 games without him playing.

Philly actually wouldn’t have to give up too much considering Lowry is expiring and likely won’t be retained by the Raptors. They just need to send out enough salary filler and a couple picks to make it work.

Meanwhile, New Orleans gets the chance to unload Eric Bledsoe who seems to be a horrible fit and malcontent on the roster. Even though he is putting up a career high in 3pt %, it’s likely he isn’t in the Pelicans future plans. Also, with Zion playing more of a facilitating big man role, it’s unnecessary to keep him there with young guards on the roster. Lonzo seems to be thriving in more of 3 & D secondary facilitator role. Danny Green would actually be a decent fit in the Pels starting lineup, where they can continue to bring Josh Hart in off the bench to provide energy. The Pels might have to give up a 2nd round pick or two, but it would be worth it in the long run.
