Not saying this rumor is true but if this trade took place this is what I’d be looking to do afterwards!

First off I would be ok taking a shot on Ace Bailey. He’s got length and can shoot. He’d play behind a PG(if we get him to buy in), Herb, and Trey where he could learn how to be a professional and how to play within the position.

I may be in the minority but I’m also liking this idea of going all in on Point Zion. I think Zion is at his best with the ball in his hands and facilitating the offense. A starting unit where Zion is the shortest player in the lineup would also be a matchup nightmare for other teams. If Jose and Dejounte are smallest guys on team then I’d be ok. While Dejounte spends first half of season healing from injury I’m looking at this Zion, PG, Trey, Herb(assuming healthy) and (insert big man here) lineup to see what we’ve got. If it has issues with playmaking then you can insert Murray once he returns.

Speaking of Murray tho. I wouldn’t be too upset if he got involved in a trade as well. I’m thinking about that potential Giannis deal. If we could attach Murray to those Bucks picks as a 3rd team in a deal then I’d be ok looking to add depth and quality pieces in a trade. And depending on that third team if it’s like Houston for instance, then I’d be ok to even attach that 3rd pick to send to Milwaukee if it means I could get Jalen Green or Alperun Sengun plus other role players (Reed Shepherd, Dillon Brooks, etc). 🤷🏻‍♂️

We also could trade Murray at deadline if this Point Zion lineup is cooking. Or just play Murray at the off guard position. 🤷🏻‍♂️
