the pelicans move on from the injury prone williamson and add arguably a top 3 playing in the nba and instantly create a great one-two punch duo with ingram and doncic, luka gets an upgrade at centre with jonas someone who is good in the post and can step out and hit a three. the pelicans three point shooting takes a leap with the addition tim hardaway, someone who is a streaky player but can catch fire on any given night, trey murphy, herb jones and dyson danials can now further develop and receive more minutes, a spark plug off the bench in jaden hardy is also added someone that could be an interesting piece in the future, in the minutes he’s had willy hernangomez has been a great back-up centre! the pelicans defence takes a slight hit and might consider trading for a better rim protector down the line, the pelicans trade capital also takes a hit however many of those picks are likely to be in the mid to late first round.
