The Knicks probably only do this if they want to move on from Towns. Durant is a good short term option, and Sochan gives them another young frontcourt player to go with him.

Bucks probably only do this if they want to blow it up. This gives them a ton of cap flexibility after one year. They get their two swaps back from the Pelicans.

I personally wouldn't do this if I was the Pelicans, I wouldn't want Towns for 3 more years, but he is more durable than Zion. Vassell is a younger version of CJ in their lineup, kind of.

Spurs may feel like this is too much to give up for Giannis, I don't know. Not sure they need Vassell with Fox.

The Suns may be getting more here than they should for Durant, I don't know. It's not like Zion is a guarantee.
