Minnesota blows it up if it’s not working by the trade deadline

FAILED

What if (and this is very unlikely) the experiment in Minnesota falls short yet again? What if by the trade deadline they realize that their group does not have what it takes to win a ring and they decide to blow it up while everyone’s value is high? If they were offered SIX future 1sts and FOUR solid young players all under 24, could that get them to try something new?

Detroit has held on to its draft picks for a very specific reason- wanting to be able to go all in when they got the opportunity. Could this be that? Here they create the best 3-man backcourt in the NBA with Cade, Ant, Ausar. They would terrorize opponents defensively. Ant would fit in every team but he is the EXACT type of superstar Detroit (and Cade) needs next their core. He can get his own bucket, is not a liability on defense, doesn’t need the ball in his hands at all times, and (most importantly) shoots the LIGHTS OUT!!

Atlanta could use a true PG to run the show with their highly athletic and versatile wing room while also needing a much larger Center. Onyeka is a solid option, but he just isn’t big enough and would serve much better in a “Naz Reid” type of 6-man role.

LaMelo, Dort, NAW, Johnson, Gobert, Onyeka, Wiggins, Nembhard, Kispert
