DETROIT: They go all in here essentially. I think Jimmy Butler would be a reliable secondary scorer for Cade, he can shoot, work in the paint, and is very versatile. He is also a solid defender and can help move the ball on offense. Obi Toppin is a three-level scorer, who can take pressure off Cade and Jimmy. They give up two firsts, not worried about these picks at all.
WARRIORS: I doubt they'll be a legit contender for the championship this year. They've been trying to bridge the dynasty team with a new era team. I think Trey Murphy would be a great help to Steph, while fitting the timeline of a rebuilding team. Him, Moses and Podz can lead the charge into the next era of Warriors basketball. They also acquire a future 2028 draft pick.
MAVS: They trend in a rebuilding direction here. Having Lively and Coop, Marshall and Gafford are expendable. They acquire a late 2027 first while having Ivey as a rebuilding piece next to Coop and Lively.
PACERS: They get a starting center who's capable of rim protection for a cheap price and good contract. Easy move. With the rise of Jarace Walker, Toppin becomes expendable here.
PELICANS: Not having a 2026 first-round pick is seeming like a costly move and in this trade they get a young two-way forward in Kuminga in addition to TWO 2026 draft picks which they could use to potentially move up.
