Why the Thunder do it: They trade a late lotto pick along with giving the pistons back their first for Grant. Grant would fit well with poku/giddy/sga.

Why for Pistons: They essentially wanted 2 first for Grant and in this scenario they take on Fournier but get 2 late lotto first in the draft and their pick back which could open up many options with future picks.
