If the Heat’s season starts out poorly as many expect it to, I wouldn’t be shocked if they went for a full rebuild. They could move on from Bam and Herro to bring in expiring contracts, young talent (Ivey and Salaun), and future picks (five 1sts and three 2nds). The Heat would have by far the most cap space going into next offseason with a ton of draft picks at their disposal and a solid young group to build around- Ware, Ivey, Jakucionis, Jaquez, Larsson, and Salaun.
Charlotte goes all in for a new core and create a very fun starting 5. They bring in their Center of the future in Duren and a backcourt spark plug in Tyler Herro. They lose Kon Knueppel (not shown in trade) for a more proven shot creator in Herro and trade some of their least valuable upcoming 1st round picks to get it done. Ball, Herro, Miller, Bridges, Duren // Mann, Green, McNeely, Williams, Diabate
Pistons land the best player in the trade in Bam Adebayo while avoiding having to make a decision on extending Duren or Ivey. Bam offers the stretch big component that would work perfectly next to Ausar and Holland. Kon slides in next to Cade and becomes the go to 3-point threat for this team for the next 5 years. Detroit also lands Jovic as their PF in bigger lineups. A new rotation in Detroit could look like Cade, Kon, Ausar, Holland, Bam // LeVert, Robinson, Jovic, Stewart // Sasser, Lanier, Jankins, Klintman
