This move is entirely contingent on Detroit being forced to trade Duren. Here they send out Duren, Holland, and two 2nds to Sacramento for effectively Sabonis, Raynaud (new starting Center), the 2031 Minnesota 1st, and a 2028 pick swap. Detroit then moves Sabonis, Duncan Robinson, and two 2nds for Paul George, Sam Hauser (TPE), and a 2028 pick swap. This move gets Detroit their starting SF (assuming PG13 stays healthy), their new starting stretch big (Raynaud), and a sharp shooter off the bench (Hauser) who helps make the money work. This also guarantees Detroit gets a lottery pick in 2028 and swaps some of their 2nds for a future 1st. Detroit gets better in the short and long term with this deal. Boston also has to throw in Schierman to Sacramento to help them build their new young core (Acuff, Duren, Murray, Holland, Clifford, Schierman, Cardwell, Karaban).
