Negotiations between the Hornets and PJ Washington are currently at a standstill. It’s been reported that Washington is looking for a four years, $80 million contract, While Charlotte is only offering PJl something in the four year/$60 million range with a team option on the fourth year. I see the Pistons splitting the difference by giving PJ the guaranteed four years for $70 million.

With the return of Miles Bridges; the drafting of Brandon Miller, good depth at both wing spots, and the improved play of C’s Mark Andrews and Ktis Richards last season PJs role with the Hornets would likely be reduced this year. Alec Burks would be a huge upgrade at the back up shooting guard spot and Killian Hayes would fill the hole at backup point guard left when Dennis Smith Jr. signed with the Nets
