Bucks finally trade Giannis for four 1sts (‘26, ‘28, ‘30, ‘32), two pick swaps (‘27 and ‘31), three 2nds, two young prospects on rookie deals (Ware and Jakucionis), a few expiring contracts, and take a chance on Ivey ahead of RFA. Expect the Bucks to also trade Myles Turner, KPJ, Kyle Kuzma, and AJ Green for as many picks as they can get their hands on. This would be a complete reset for the Bucks who would start to build around Ryan Rollins, Kel’el Ware, and Kasparas Jakucionis.
Miami makes their all in move for Giannis and trades every pic they can. They even get the 2027 Pistons 1st (the worse of this pick and the Bucks 2027 1st), so they can move their 2026, 28, 30, and 32 1sts with all being unprotected and then swap two other 1sts. They roll out maybe the best starting 5 in the East with Mitchell, Herro, Wiggins, Giannis, Bam. Their depth is slightly depleted with only Jaquez, Larsson, Jovic, GTJ, and Fontecchio… but they got Giannis.
Pistons move a future 1st and essentially two expiring contracts for a major upgrade at the Guard spot with Norman Powell, pushing Robinson to the bench, and also at their backup PF with Bobby Portis sliding into their TPE. Detroit makes some major upgrades while being able to retain their deep bench.
