The Kings have shown their hand that they really want Jalen Duren. Here it costs them two of their versatile forwards, but they get to keep Sabonis and get younger to build around a new core of Duren, Acuff, Clifford, and Holland. Add in two firsts next year and some added cap space with LaVine and Sabonis expiring soon and the Kings could finally start to turn this around.

Portland has way too many guards and need some added forward depth. Here they swap Jrue for their new backup SF and PF while adding a future 2nd too.

Detroit is not able to keep Duren so they settle for the best win-now move that they can pull off. They land Jrue Holliday as the starting SG next to Cade and Ausar while giving Keegan Murray a 6-man role where he will back up John Collins (or eventually start over him). Detroit also adds Maxime Raynaud as their new starting stretch big while picking up a future 1st and a swap. This is the best case scenario for Detroit if they have to trade Duren - add a secondary ball handler, get a stretch big, upgrade the bench unit. Detroit adds more shooting and gets better defensively.
