Lauri fits in perfectly with most teams but especially in Detroit where he is bookended by great defense from Ausar and rim protecting big man who grabs every board in sight in Jalen Duren. Niang comes over with the Trade Exception for the pick swap. Jazz add an expiring contract, a promising young guard in Ivey, and take a chance on Klintman figuring it out while they add two 1sts for their overpaid star. Lauri can’t be the best player on a championship team but he might be up there for the best 2nd option. Niang is a great 9/10th rotation guy too.
