Norman Powell might be the best #2 option on the market for Detroit. Because he’s a free agent, he will come a lot cheaper as a sign and trade. All Detroit has to give up is Ron Holland, the expiring contract of Caris LeVert (to match the money), and a pair of 2nds. Detroit locks in their #2 option for the next 3 years who can also provide some solid versatility on defense and shoots the 3 ball at a career 39% clip. Detroit moves Robinson to the 6-man role, extends Duren to a near max deal, resigns Tobias and Javonte, and drafts a young promising PF to back up Tobias. Detroit could also sign a veteran like Taurean Prince or trade for Kenrich Williams via the TPE to add depth to that spot.

Milwaukee adds youth and picks. They walk away with All Star guard Tyler Sherri who is going to be very complementary to Ryan Rollins. They then create a defensive masterclass of a forward room with Ron Holland and Kel’el Ware, while keeping their stretch big in Myles Turner. This could actually work out really well for Milwaukee. Milwaukee also lands FOUR 1sts, THREE swaps, and TWO 2nds.

With the emergence of Pelle Larsson, Miami could use Powell as a sign and trade candidate and still land Giannis despite their lack of draft assets. They have to still include Ware and Herro plus all their draft capital they can spend, but this puts them in a very interesting spot.
