WHY ROCKETS

The range and versatility they bring with adding Jimmy Butler is great. We've all seen how Butler performs in the playoffs. They would have the perfect blend of youth and vets.

WHY MIAMI

With a quick adjustment, I think a pairing of Bam Abedeyo with a rotation of Jalen Duren and Kaleel Ware could be pretty great. I think the depth overall would appeal to the Heat, especially with a few picks added in. The Heat are infamous for having depth. This team would have a lot of it but I'd also expect for them to make more moves at least by next year. The turnaround for the Heat might not get any better than this from another team. The Heat are the question marks here though. In the NBA you can have enough Centers. They get hurt quite a bit. Having 2 that can fight it out with Bam as he now becomes the head star on the team I feel would be a good look as they ride the hot hand.

WHY PISTONS

Killing two birds with one stone the Pistons modify their 4 & 5 depth with players who may fit more suitably with the Pistons's current players. They could use Jabari Smith's shooting potential and Smith is also very pairable with Isaiah Stewart if they decide he should be a starter. I like the idea of Jaden Ivey and Cade Cunningham having Steven Adams in the paint for him though.
