Detroit are coming off an incredible, unexpectedly great season where they achieved heights no one thought they'd reach. Going into this upcoming off-season, they should a little more aggressive, prioritizing fit with Cade over anything else. I know moving Ivey is something most fans won't want, seeing wr didn't even have him in the playoffs. Though being honest, it was apparent how much easier the offense flowed without him then with him and Cade working together. Detroit's true success came when he went out and Ausar was inserted back into the lineup. Vassell isn't that much better than Ivey, though he's a better 3 and D player than Ivey and would fit much better next to Cade. Bobby Portis Jr. will be a tougher version of Tobias; coming off the bench providing leader, championship experience and consistency on both sides of the court. Bringing Beasley and Schroeder back should be a priority, keeping the chemistry strong at good value. The biggest move though is paying Naz Reid whatever it takes to pry him away from Minny and make him a Pistons. He's everything we need and more. Spacing, efficiency, ability to make create his own shot, defense, toughness and what could end up being championship level experience for him too as well. The price might be high but this should definitely work next to Duren, with Stew and BPJ backing him up as well. For the Giannis part, SAS get Giannis, keeping the 2nd overall pick and add expiring contracts to have flexible sooner rather than later. They also can bring back CP3 to provide leadership, backup PG play and continued mentorship to both Castle and potentially Harper if they select him with the #2 pick. MIL get Fox and Ivey, #14 pick and future picks as well. Yes, that leaves MIL with Fox, Ivey and Dame but Dame will miss all of next season and probably won't be the same after. MIL can either keep Fox and let him and Ivey develop a dynamic backcourt or they can flip Fox this summer for even more value and let Ivey become the future, as they truly rebuild for the future.
