Pistons try Vooch for a 1 year rental with an actual stretch big in their lineup. Pistons also add their 3rd guard to come off the bench in a rotation with Cade and Ivey in Podziemski. Detroit then moves up from 37 to 27 to draft Maxime Raynaud costing them three 2nds in the process. Finally, Detroit lands Santi Aldama on a 4 year, $72M deal ($18M AAV) for Fontecchio, Sasser, and two 2nds. Detroit was able to nab two 1sts from GSW in the Duren deal.

Raynaud will take on Paul Reed’s minutes and then replace Vooch in 26/27. Aldama sits behind Tobias until he’s ready to start and then he is the new long term PF. You resign Ivey to hopefully a $25M AAV deal and then draft a backup PG and PF in 2026 with two 1st round picks. This team could make majors moves this offseason to not only be contenders this year but for many years to come.
