This trade is a huge one that requires a lot of thinking but I think it would have the potential to be considered by all parties involved...
WHY ROCKETS
It is no secret that they covet Cade Cunningham. However, prying that #1 pick from the Pistons would take a slew of picks along with pick #2 unless they could get a star to Detroit. Helping the Wizards move Bradley Beal to the Pistons, an team with a black GM & Coach that I believe Beal would love to play under, would do the trick! Adding Cam Reddish and Kevin Dunn (a safety valve for if John Wall gets injured or takes too long to recover) wouldn't be a bad look at all. Corey Joseph is also a savvy vet that can come in and get buckets as well as fill the void of John Wall being out if that happens.
Potential Roster: John Wall, Kevin Porter Jr., Cade Cunningham, Kelly Olynyk, Christian Wood
WHY HAWKS
This trade is dependant on if the Hawks believe that John Collins is worth all that he is asking for. If not, this trade isn't a bad turnover by a long shot. Consider that they add two PFs to replace him in Rui Haichumura and Bertans. Not just that but they add more wing help in the versatile veteran Eric Bledsoe. With them having a slew of wing players and 5 1st round picks from the next 2 drafts, they could EASILY move up very far in this draft and/or make more trades to continue to build around Trae Young and to get him what he needs. If you ask me though, the Atlanta Hawks could take what they have in totality after this trade and make a move for Karl Anthony Towns...Yes, suddenly you understand why they would move John Collins who they could lose anyway and load up on more players and picks right?
Potential Roster: Because this trade would be to set up more trade opportunities, it's hard to say what the roster would be. However, a roster that would have Trae Young, Kevin Hueter, DeAndre Hunter, and Karl Anthony Towns on it would be drool worthy.
WHY WIZARDS
Some say that it's inevitable that Bradley Beal leaves Washington. Not just that but do you believe that with Westbrook's absolutely immovable contract and Beal's current and future contract will be worth continuing on and trying to build a team around with no money? Insert John Collins, a new young talented prospect who would pair very well with Russell Westbrook and would likely sign for millions less than Beal leaving some wiggle room for the Wizards. Westbrook and Collins would be very fun and Collins would be the most talented big that Westbrook has played with since Kevin Durant (no disrespect to Steven Adams). Along with Collins, you are getting a talented veteran big in Mason Plumlee (once again, Westbrook loves his bigs) that can play with Collins with no problems. Moving Haichumara gives Avdija more room to grow and you can focus more on him as far as his development. Jaesean Tate was a fan-favorite in Houston and gained a lot of recognition for his journey the NBA and his success. He could easily help fill the void of losing Bradley Beal. You also get the #20 pick in the draft so you're only moving 5 spots back. I think the Wizards are the biggest question marks in this trade and maybe they'd want another (future) first-round pick with an allowance of conditions that protect a team if it falls on a bad year. I think overall, if they are ever going to actually move in a new direction to get out of this limbo, this would be a good trade to do it.
Potential Starting Lineup: Russell Westbrook, Deni Avdija, JaeSean Tate, John Collins, Mason Plumlee (that's a lot of versatility)
WHY PISTONS
I think it's interesting that Bradley Beal and Jerami Grant ended up on safety protocols on the Olympic team together recently. Maybe they've talked and have some sort of relationship now. Maybe not. Either way, I think regardless of how good/great Cade Cunningham is you can't pass up adding Bradley Beal (a 30 ppg scorer who can take the load off of Grant) and Evan Mobley. Mobley could easily step in and pair with Isaiah "Beef Stew" Stewart but admittedly the better lineup would have him at center with Stewart coming off the bench. The Pistons would be very deep and on the rise quickly. This is a team that was top 5 in point differential despite having a record bad enough to win the #1 pick. They pulled off the perfect tank. Adding Bradley Beal's scoring prowess would win so many games for them and it helps that he's a veteran. Bradley Beal is also heavily involved in black culture. I think he would be happy to be playing in a city that has such an outstanding African-American history and is spearheaded by a black GM in Troy Weaver and black head coach in Dwane Casey. I don't think the Pistons would have any problems resigning him when his contract expires in 2023 and the other thing to look at is that they have assets to trade back into the draft and grab another quality player potentially with high upside...
Potential Starting Roster: Killian Hayes, Bradley Beal, Saddiq Bey, Jerami Grant, Evan Mobley
