Detroit upgraded its bench unit by adding John Collins in with Stew and Holland and Jenkins. They can then rode the hot hand of Javonte Green vs Marcus Sasser and still have Paul Reed as a 3rd Center. Detroit keeps its depth while opening a roster spot for Jenkins to be signed to a standard contract.
