Two moves would push Detroit to the NBA finals this year (and maybe many more).

Detroit has shown that their true core is Cade, Duren, and Ausar. I don’t see Holland as a long term fit as his offensive abilities are not there and he is a limited defender as he’s not a great point of attack defender and can’t guard bigger 4s (Gianni’s, KAT, Lauri, Mobley, etc). Holland also hasn’t been closing games this year so he is obviously a movable player. They need to add shooters and wing defenders around this squad. They get one of each allowing them to roll out shooting heavy or defense heavy lineups. The thing nobody is talking about is the fact that they will have to cut/trade someone to open a roster spot so Jenkins can be signed to an NBA contract and play for this team in the playoffs. They could cut Isaac Jones or Klintman, but they could also get here by packaging two or three guys for a major roster upgrade.
