Detroit offloads THJ for Herb Jones, even though he just tore his labrum, and Josh Richardson, who can replace THJ in the second unit. Jones is the real win here though. Yes, the wing rotation would be crowded. But this would give Detroit plenty of flexibility for additional moves. But Jones and Thompson on the wings would be defensively terrifying.
Miami gets a solid return for Jimmy with the expiring contracts of BI and THJ. If BI can return to the court around the All Star break, they'll have a solid shot at making the play-in. Getting three future SRPs helps restock the cabinets. Ultimately, the Heat get a former All Star who theoretically fits nicely next to Herro and Bam. With veteran depth in THJ. Who they can then resign this summer. Or let them walk and open up near max cap space.
New Orleans here is the most interesting. On paper, Murray, McCollum, Jimmy, Murphy and Zion, is an offensive and defensive powerhouse. They might not get into the playoffs this year, but if Nola considers next season and two or three year extension with Jimmy, who will have a chip on his shoulder, they'll be scary if they can stay healthy.
