MPJ, Markkanen, Murphy... They're all way better players than Lavine, but they all would cost a lot more (4 or more real assets). I've been kind of a Lavine hater. Doesn't play any defense, but he is a real scorer. He would replace Duncan Rob in the starting lineup, who's also doesn't play good defense, although he has more effort and iq than Lavine.

I think that the Kings, in their situation, would just give Lavine away to save a lot of cap space, right? Tobi and Lavine are playing good defense, but nothing really effective on offense. The price of this trade would be paying the absurd Lavine's next year salary.
