Y both teams accept:
Pistons: The Pistons have made a big jump from last year, and they are a playoff caliber team with solid foundational pieces. The one thing they lack that will truly help them make the jump is a second option and Ingram fits that role perfectly.
Pelicans: In the beginning of the Zion and BI era, the future looked promising. But the last 5 years they’ve been mid at best and this year they r one of the worst teams in the league. They need to move on as their roster rn is not it. Holland is a good young wing and Hardaway is a big expiring contract, so they’ll have some cap space to make some changes for next season plus more future draft capital.
