If Detroit is trading Duren, they should be sending him to the bucks so they can get a stretch big who can protect the rim- Myles Turner. They should also be asking for two 1sts and Jaime Jaquez (not only to make the money work but as a sweetener). Detroit then should take these two 1sts along with a heavily protected 1st, Ron Holland, and Duncan Robinson’s contract to land Trey Murphy and Herbert Jones ($15M TPE). Detroit gets better offensively AND defensively through better rim protection, more versatility in the starting 5 (Murphy >>> Robinson), and forward bench depth Jaquez and Jones create a solid unit.
