Magic add some offense and bring in son of former All-Star, Tim Hardaway Jr. This move helps the Magic with their playoff push and adds a great shooter to their rotation, as well as a depth piece in Wendell Moore. While the Pistons bring in an Ivey replacement for the rest of this season in Gary Harris and add former Piston and veteran backup point guard Cory Joseph, as well as the young, lengthy wing in Caleb Houstan. The Pistons also save 9.2 Mil in cap doing this deal, opening up opportunities to make a bigger deal to acquire Ingram or Lavine.

Pistons cut ties with Gary Harris and Cory Joseph after this season and make room for free agent signings and new draftees. Pistons can give Caleb Houstan a shot to develop and become a good rotation piece.
