Detroit makes a calculated move to get the #2 option in Norman Powell while adding two solid bench forwards, moving up from pick 21 to 16 and also adding a future 1st from the Lakers.
Possible Pistons Rotation: Cade, Powell, Ausar, Tobias, Stewart // Jenkins, Robinson, LaRavia, Aldama, Reed, Green, #16 pick (Aday Mara or Nate Ament).
Memphis looks to reshape their roster and bring in more wing length and defense. Franz Wagner instantly becomes their top guy and is paired with a plethora of wings and shooting and length around him. The Grizzlies could look to slightly move back from 3 and get their PG of the future but for the sake of this trade, let’s assume they take Darius Acuff here. The grizzlies could roll out a rotation of Acuff, Coward, Wells, Wagner, Edey // Clayton, Pippen jr, KCP, LeVert, Holland, GG Jackson, Hendricks, Clarke, pick 21 (backup Center).
Orlando swaps Franz Wagner for their table setting PG with Austin Reaves who should fix their offensive problems. Reaves would have Suggs and Black to alleviate his defensive problems while Orlando gets more spacing and a true Pg to run the show.
Miami adds their PG superstar and they do it for cheap. They don’t lose any picks and take a chance on the Ja experiment. They lose Powell (who is already an UFA), get off Jovic’s overpaid contract, and trade Jaquez a year before he was going to hit FA.
The Lakers make some big moves here. They land their Center of the future with Duren. Luka named Duren as one of his desired Center running mates and now he gets his wish. They also land an Austin Reaves replacement in Ty Jerome to come off the bench as a spark plug and they also add a solid young 3&D forward in Jovic to possible replace Rui if someone gives him a good offer in FA.
