Detroit:
Gives up a couple 2nds and 2 promising young players for a more proven player that can fill their need for backup 4 minutes. Tari could eventually be the Tobias Harris replacement if he continues to improve. This leaves Detroit a bit light at PG, but it's worth the overall talent upgrade at a position of need.
Houston:
After the unfortunate FVV injury, Houston is able to add a veteran guard in Dinwiddie, a promising scoring guard in Sasser, as well as some draft capital for the future. This is a band aid for the lost FVV minutes that will keep them financially flexible moving forward. Losing Tari hurts, but they avoid the contract extension decision and the headache that RFA can be (Look at Kuminga with GS).
Charlotte:
Looking at Charlotte's roster, they have a glut of guards (LaMelo, Sexton, Dinwiddie, Mann, Green, etc). They trade the oldest of these guards to clear up room for the younger guys to get playing time while getting their 2nd round pick back and a promising 4 man. Low risk, low reward, but still a net positive.
Let me know what you all think! Who passes? Who accepts? What can I adjust to make this fairer for everyone?
