Pistons receive: Michael Porter Jr
Pistons get a young, elite shooter to compliment Cade and their starting SF/PF for the near future.
Nuggets receive: Cameron Johnson + Simone Fontecchio
Nuggets get a player who will offer very similar production to MPJ, while being on one of the best contracts in the NBA. This will allow them to use money in free agency, which they otherwise would be unable to do. Also get Fontecchio who can be a good streaky shooter.
Nets receive: Tobias Harris, Marcus Sasser, 2026 FRP (Denver), 2027 FRP (Detroit)
Nets look to maximize Cam Johnson's value, getting 2 first round picks, an expiring contract worth $26m in Tobias Harris, and a young, promising guard in Marcus Sasser. Not only do they continue to bolster their draft capital, but the expiring contract will allow them to use that $26m next off-season in free agency to build around the young core they'll look to assemble.
Pistons resign all of the vets who brought them to the playoffs, and add another young, proven shooter in Gary Trent Jr through free agency, as they're willing to offer more money than the Bucks.
Next Seasons Lineup:
-Starters: Cade/Ivey/Ausar/MPJ/Duren -Bench: Schroder/Beasley/Trent/Holland/Stewart -Reserves: (Rookie)/Hardaway/Klintman/Reed
Is this realistic? Where does this team finish in the East?
