Hawks reportedly don’t know what their future is with onyeka. Luke kennard is on an expiring and they just traded for Corey kispert and cj.

Jakob is def the best player in the deal but with his injuries this season and the amount of money he’s making Toronto could just get off him. Onyeka would be able to space the floor a bit and is a lob threat while kennard adds necessary shooting and scoring.

The hawks are less inclined to do this simply because of jakobs contract but ad is probably not on the table anymore and there’s really no good bigs on the trade market.
