Raptors grab 33 yr old Khris Middleton for Bruce Brown Davion Mitchell and two seconds. I don’t exactly know what Khris Middleton’s market is but why not grab a competent veteran scorer to help our young guys win games next season. He’ll be on an expiring contract and adding Beauchamp gives us a young guy to work out on the wing. If I’m not mistaken, they wanted to get rid of Beauchamp, I could be wrong. Ik we should aim to lose but it could be beneficial to have Middleton even if we get a Cooper Flagg or Ace Bailey so they have someone to watch and emulate. He’s not always gonna be healthy so it should give other wings opportunities. If we don’t get a wing in the draft, this just adds a competent wing to a roster who will be on an expiring contract next season.

The bucks can get off his contract and add some valuable playoff pieces with the option to resign or not resign depending on their performance plus two seconds. It’s not a one to one talent swap but Khris Middleton just hasn’t been available for this team so I think they could be interested in getting off his contract.

Lmk what y’all think. If the bucks like Beauchamp, maybe we swap him for Connaughton or a rookie they aren’t into.
