Chicago Bulls
I was going to make this Lonzo because I think Pat is too obvious. Lonzo is the type of buy low do-it-all candidate the Raps would love. However, he still looks like a shell of himself, even if he would agree to re-sign behind the scenes.
Pat's size and shooting would also be a great fit. The Bulls may be sick of waiting for Pat to become a Kawhi variant and sell high before the 90M becomes a bad contract. Nevertheless, I see them being patient as he was the first pick of this front office and they are likely going to pivot to keeping theyre pick this year, therefore, no rush to move him.
BBTET
The Raptors are unlikely to do nothing at the trade deadline. They're probably going to make use of Bruce Brown's expiring deal in 1 of 2 ways
1 Sellers: Get value for Bruce as a player
2A/2B Buyers: Add value to his expiring deal to acquire a player (Poeltl trade) OR to acquire financial flexibility (Thad Young trade)
I've been thinking about this with every team and this is just for me to visualize it and do a fun exercise.
