Raptors get off a bad contract in Poeltl, trade away an underperforming young player in Gradey Dick, a non-lottery pick, take advantage of an expiring contract in Barrett, and hope they are still good in 2032. In return, they get three point shooting in Turner and Monk, along with experience, defense, ball-handling, and they lose a lot of cap space to resign Mamukelashvili and stay under the tax.
Bucks trade away an underperforming Myles Turner and embrace the full rebuild by trading him away for a bad contract and a FRP this year and maybe another one in the future. They also take a flyer on Gradey Dick, strengthening their young core, and try to turn his career around.
Kings trade away an aging Malik Monk for a bad contract in Josh Green and a nice role player in Tre Mann, while also getting a first round pick, and they hope the Hornets are bad in 2028.
Hornets furthermore bolster their offense by adding RJ Barrett to most likely come off the bench for Kon Knueppel, with Coby White also as lethal bench unit pieces. Sure they trade a first for RJ Barrett, but it most likely won’t be that valuable as they will hopefully be very good in 2028. Their rotation will most likely be PG Ball White(Resign) SG Miller James SF Knueppel Barrett PF Bridges Williams C Diabate Kalkbrenner
