Raptors- They need shooting, and Cam Spencer imo is a top 3 shooter in the nba rn. He’d be perfect for Toronto off the bench. Plus, Cam can also play a little combo guard, and we need some more ball handling, so that’s two check boxes he fills by trading for him. No brainer imo.

Grizzlies- It hurts to lose Spencer and yes it weakens the young core (even though it’s still great) a little but they just have so many roster spots so they should try to take advantage of trading players for draft capital when they can; otherwise they’ll have to start cutting guys that might be beneficial for them. Plus they recoup 3 seconds in draft capital which is sufficient imo.
