The Lakers don't desperately need another centre with the addition of Thomas Bryant, however, an amazing 3 and D guy would fit amazing, that's why they go after OG rather than Turner.

Lakers: The Lakers would love Turner, however, he's an expiring contract and the Lakers could use another amazing defensive and scoring wing to aid Lebron and AD

= That's why they go for OG, a great floor spacing defender who can take off a lot of defensive pressure from Lebron, they also get Hield whos another amazing floor spacer. The reason I love this trade is that it allows the Lakers to get some versatile lineups. As well as, to sweeten the package for the Lakers the raptors throw in Khem Birch who's an amazing role player who can definitely get minutes for them.

RaptorsL The Raptors would love to get a Big Man like Turner who would beautifully fit in their system. Turner is an amazing floor spacing - defender and he would thrive in the Raptors system

This comes after it's been said OG has been upset with his role on the raptors, This trade could come a bit after the season. After the Lakers have evaluated how Russ has been playing in their new system. As well, as the Raptors looking at the OG situation.

The value of Turner is a bit lower considering that he's on an expiring contract and thus the Raptors take on a larger risk. They could be incentivised by a pick by the pacers - a non-valuable frp like a Boston or Cavs one

Pacers - The Pacers get two extremely valuable Frp's as at this time the Laker's future isn't bright. In fact, the Lakers look like they are going to be horrible in 2027 - 2029. They get these picks as they are giving up two valuable assets for Russ, who may get no playing time. Yet they carry the risk of losing two valuable players for picks that have a sliver of a chance of being food

This trade does look like a fair trade for all teams, as the Raptors get that true centre, Pacers get two valuable Frps to go full rebuild, Lakers get two amazing players who can start and get two valuable bench players
