The Jakob Poeltl contract is going to be one of the worst aging contracts in the league. The Raptors use Dick’s rookie contract and some draft capital to move off his contract and get a much needed center upgrade in Claxton. The raptors continue to buy in to the Scottie/ Ingram core to continue to try and compete in the east.

My only qualm here is I’m not sure how much Raptors fan value Dick. I remember him having a great rookie/sophomore season but it seems like he’s fallen off a bit. Is it enough for raptors fans to be okay trading him and a first away? Let me know!
