I love to watch hockey games. I obviously didn’t watch every single game, but I did watch the Calgary v. Dallas, Pittsburgh, v. New York, Carolina v. Boston, and the Tampa Bay v. Toronto games. But watching the penguins in particular, there was nothing but straight hate. I literally heard crap about the Penguins excellence. I am a huge fan of Carolina, so obviously, it didn’t bug me as much, but the game was still bugging me. I mean the Penguins held on to go all the way to game 7 with a 3rd string Goalie. The Penguins had Guentzel drop 8 goals in a single series, Domingue having a better save percentage against Shesterkin, and Crosby make constant history, i believe he is 6th all time in playoff points, now. I mean all of that is still impressive as anything, and yet, not any good comments came out of that game. Every commentator and officiator was putting the hate on the penguins. The rangers were boosted every time by everyone, despite playing crappily. I mean, how do you drop 11 goals in 2 games and still be considered a great player. Domingue had 8 less goals than Shesterkin in the series and was downplayed, despite ever playing a single playoff game.
