First the Rockets waive Daishin Nix, not up to NBA standard.

Sign Brooke Lopez to a 2 year deal (maybe a 3rd year team option if needed to lure him to the Rockets). He provides great defence and rim protection, plus spacing. He is the perfect mentor for Sengun in those 2 areas as an on-court mentor.

Trade for Tyus Jones, Amen is gonna take time to adjust to the NBA, so we need a veteran PG to teach him the ropes, whilst also being able to run the starting lineup. Tyus Jones is arguably the best backup PG in the league and is the perfect fit here. He is able to start to begin the season ,before going to the bench unit and leading it, once Amen is ready. The Wizards gain 2 srps and a young talented wing, plus they dump salary.

Once we have filled our needs at PG and Centre ,we should capitalise on bringing in more assets for trading down the line, swapping Tate for Fournier will gain us a frp for future trades. The trade bring Knicks under the luxury tax and gains them a younger wing.

Starting Lineup: PG: Tyus Jones, SG: Jalen Green, SF: Tari Eason, PF: Jabari Smith Jr., C: Brooke Lopez (splitting 60/40 with Sengun).

Bench Lineup: PG: Amen Thompson (first half of the season whilst he adjust to the NBA), SG1: KPJ, SG2: JGUP, SF: Cam Whitmore, PF: Usman Garuba, C: Alpheran Sengun (just whilst he develops his defence and shooting, under Lopez's mentorship)

Depth: TyTy Washington (long term project possibly) , Evan Fournier. And 2 more spots to fill out the roster, (Maybe Jaxon Hayes idk)
