Lakers have to swing for the fences. Wasting another year of Lebron isn’t an option. They have little to no assets so go all in on chips now makes the most sense.

Rockets would just buy Russ out. The first in 2029 is nice though as the Lakers will likely be a bottom 10 team once Lebron is gone.

The nets are in a very interesting spot. Lakers are probably one of the very few teams that would be willing to take on Kyrie, and they’d give up a premium pick to do so. They do everything they can in order to keep kd happy if keeping Kyrie isn’t an option.

Cavs just look to get something for an expiring Klove. THT is still young and is worth rolling the dice for. Nunn is pretty meh but gives them a backup guard

NOTE: This trade would have to be agreed to after the draft due to the Stepien rule.

Also instead of LA 2028 pick going to Hou it would instead be 2029

Nets would get the 2023 pick - but have to wait until after the draft to COMPLETE the trade. They would just have La make the pick for them. 2027 would still go to them

CORRECTION:

LA doesn’t have a 2022 pick so they wouldn’t be picking for the Nets. The trade still has to wait until after the draft though in order for the 2029 pick to become available.

Also since the Lakers don’t have a 2024 first they are not able to trade away the 2023 1st. So this trade would require them to trade some 2nds
