This one is kind of stupid but it’s funny to me so I’m keeping it in. It’s not the least realistic thing which also makes it quite funny to me. In this deal, Houston trade away a significant deal of their future to reunite Joel Embiid and James Harden, after signing the former Rocket in free agency. Under this new squad however, the rockets have a few things the 76ers don’t. They have equity to make further trades, they have 2 really promising young guys in Smith Jr and Green, and they have further moves they can make to either acquire vets, or keep building through the draft or even free agency.

Do I love this specific concept… I actually don’t know. I just saw these guys be an amazing duo for 2 straight years, but I’ve also just seen them choke significantly in the playoffs. If this happens I’d be all on board, but as for now it’s just a funny idea.
