This trade sends Kevin Durant to the Rockets in exchange for: -Dillon Brooks -Jabari Smith -Reed Sheppard -The Suns firsts back
This allows the Rockets to sign Brook Lopez, Malik Beasley, and Ty Jerome, as well while still being below the second apron, and fixing all the issues that they had in the previous years playoffs. As for the Suns, they get two good forwards to go next to Booker that would allow them to still fight for contention, while also giving them their picks back and two young talents that would benefit them greatly should they decide to move on from Booker down the line. The signings of Malik Beasley and Brook Lopez directly address the shooting concerns of the Rockets, while Kevin Durant fixes the major issue they had in the playoffs which was a lack of a central star that could bring them out of close games.
The Lineups after this trade and signings would look something like: PG- Amen Thompson SG- Malik Beasley SF- Kevin Durant PF- Tari Eason C- Alperen Sengun
