-HOU trades Alperen Sengun to Boston straight up for Derrick White

-HOU trades Capela, DFS, Brooklyn’s 2027 swap, and a 2028 swap worst to Brooklyn for Nic Claxton

Derrick White & Nic Claxton fit right into Ime Udoka’s system, makes the starting rotation far more complete, and adds depth back on the bench. Claxton is one of the most underrated rim protectors in the league and gives Houston far more stability in the painted area than with Sengun. White has already planned in Ime’s system and can be the perfect backcourt mate for both Thompson & Sheppard. Whether it’s playing off the ball while Thompson is on the floor, or negating Sheppards deficiencies on defense.
